ROMAN WALL SHOW

Blackface Champion was awarded to Charlie Halbert of Chapel House with a Ewe Lamb.

The Ewe Lamb went on to win overall interbreed champion.





















Reserve Champion was awarded to Messrs Walton, Penpugh with a Ewe Hogg.



Another tremendous show of sheep were presented to judge Robert McKay of Westhills, Rothbury.


Ram (Aged or Shearling - rough)  was won by a tup shared by A Murray & Sons of Sewingshields & Charlie Halbert of Chapel House.


Shearling Ram - 1st Messrs Pattinson of Hott Bank.


Ram Lamb - 1st Wanwood Partners of Wanwood Hill.


Ewe - 1st A Murray & Sons of Sewingshields.


Ewe Hogg - 1st Messers Walton of Penpugh.


Ewe Lamb - 1st Charlie Halbert of Chapel House.


Group of Three - 1st Wanwood Partners of Wanwood Hill


Group of Three (Farm on the Roman Wall) - 1st A Murray & Sons, Sewingshields.


Roman Wall Show Committee Class was won by Messers Walton of Penpugh with a Ewe Hogg.


Blackface Reserve Champion was won by Messers Walton of Penpugh with their Ewe Hogg.


Blackface Champion, and winner of the Ridley Challenge Cup, was won by Charlie Halbert of Chapel House with a Ewe Lamb by ‘Ragnar’ a homebred tup lamb. The Ewe Lamb went on to win overall interbreed champion sheep.
