The Overall Champion was awarded to the Ewe from GM & C Walton Allensgreen, Bardon Mill and the Reserve Champion was awarded to the Ram from Annabelle Morshead, Nilston Rigg, Langley on Tyne

An excellent entry of 101 quality sheep were forward for the show which was expertly judged by Mr Ian Savage of Emblehope who made his awards as follows.

Overall Champion - Tup owned by Mr T A Bates, Nilston Rigg, Langley on Tyne £12500 Clennell

Tup Lamb - 1st - RJ & J Raine, Townfoot, Woodburn, 2nd - A murray & Sons, 3rd - T A Bates, 4th - T A Bates

Ewe - 1st - T A Bates, 2nd - T A Bates, 3rd - RJ & J Raine, 4th - A Murray & Sons

Overall Champion and the Murray Bros., Trophy was won by Mr T A Bates with a tup purchased as a shearling at Hexham in October 2009 for £12500 from Clennell.

Reserve Champion was a ewe lamb also from Mr T A Bates which was sired by the Overall Champion £12500 Clennell.

The Hamish Murray Salver for a group of three was also won by Mr T A Bates.
